Ariane

Bonjour!

I’m Ariane a French Native painter & weaver. I was born in Paris and raised in Nantes, a lovely city in the West of France. I have a BA in Fashion Textiles and an MA in Weave. Throughout my studies I taught French to young children as well as helping with proof reading essays for University students.

I offer face-to-face conversation partner and tutoring lessons for all levels. I base my lessons around communication and focus on enthusiastic interactions. I like using newspapers, articles, movies, songs, and topics you feel passionate or want to learn more about as a teaching methodology.

I always tailor the class to the student needs so your expectations can be met. My approach is fun, creative and very engaged.

Experience: Throughout my BA, I taught French to 2 children (3 and 6 years old). This was done through activities such as cooking, singing, painting as well as reading stories in French and constant speaking.
Since 2019, I have been a conversation partner for various levels, from complete beginner to more advanced students who wanted to perform their French.

I am also a freelance translator.
