Information about Lucy
I have been teaching for 20 years both as an English tutor and teacher in a wide variety of educational settings. I am able to teach at Key stage 3, GCSE English Language and Literature and A level. As a GCSE and A Level moderator and examiner, I will ensure that lessons are tailored to the requirements of the syllabus as well as the student’s individual needs. I am able to teach in person at the student’s house or online.
Availability: During term time I am generally available after school and early evening on Monday to Thursday.
In school holidays I can be more flexible.
I am not available at weekends.

Experience: I have worked as an English teacher and Head of English in state and independent schools teaching students of all levels and abilities from year 7 to year 13. I have also successfully tutored students for private school entrance papers , common entrance and 11+. I have been a marker, examiner and coursework moderator at GCSE and A level for both English Language and English Literature.
