Learning maths is like building blocks - you must have a solid understanding of fundamental topics before building on them. As such, sessions will focus on exploring topics of struggle together, as well as core concepts. I tend to break down the topics and do plenty of practise questions, going at a pace suitable for you. With older ages, we will also work on exam technique by using past papers, looking at common misconceptions, tricky concepts, wording of the question, etc.

I am dedicated to helping students achieve the best result they can. I understand that every student is different and uses different styles of learning, so I will tailor the sessions to suit individual’s needs.

Experience: Graduated with First Class degree in BSc Mathematics at University of Sheffield. Obtained 10 A*’s at GCSE as well as A* in A level Maths & Further Maths.

Experience of tutoring for 2+ years, with students ranging from primary school to A level/IB, in all exam boards.
