Information about Alan
I attained an A* in both A-Level mathematics and further mathematics. I achieved 100 UMS in multiple modules, and did not achieve below 90 UMS in any of my mathematics modules, suggesting that I scored either full marks or lost marks only once in all of my papers. I took my A-Level mathematics exams only one year ago (Now a University second year), and have since the implementation of the new specification, been able to assist instructing classes vocationally whilst teaching new-spec mathematics, and found that the vast majority of the content is the same, with some material having been moved from further maths to the main maths syllabus.
Having very recently been an A-Level student myself, I believe I have a much better teaching perspective than most mathematics teachers who have not been able to properly delve into the content for years. I believe I can prove my competancy with the grades I achieved, and have extensive prior one-to-one tutoring experience.
I would be able to give online lessons at the low rate of £12/hr. This in no way would compromise the quality of tutorship I can provide- I will absolutely not deliver anything less than the highest quality education, and am uniquely qualified to do so. However, as a student in full-time education I do not mind working at low rates, as I find spreading education inherently fulfilling.
