I am Phoebe, an F1 Doctor having just completed my Medicine course at St George`s University of London. I have completed the MBBS course with Distinction.

I started my educational journey believing that only commitment and hard work was required to achieve results. As I progressed through my education I quickly discovered these alone were not enough. I, therefore, developed an effective study method, tailored to my strengths and meta-learning behaviours enabling me to study ‘smarter not harder’. This enabled me to free up time to focus on my health and a balanced lifestyle, whilst still achieving academically. Not only can I assist you with learning your course content, but I can help you develop your own optimised study strategy. I believe academic success doesn’t only come from hard work.

Specifically with regards to medicine:
I have first hand experience of the medical application process achieving multiple offers. I can therefore help with the following:
1. Advice on applying to universities that are looking for YOUR strengths
2. Personal statements (see below)
3. Preparing and coming across well in interviews
4. Any specific information about life at medical school

Personal statement writing is challenging for all sixth form students. I was fortunate in that my personal statement received very positive feedback and hence, I can assist you not only in advising what is good content, but also in the right language to use in your personal statement.

Experience: I have over 3 years of cumulative experience of tutoring students of different ages including being hired by the university to tutor Clinical Skills to younger years. I have also produced and delivered teaching content in a lecture format to students on multiple occasions.
