Information about Temi

I am a 5th year medical student at Oxford University. I specialise in tuition for maths of all levels, common entrance, primary and university medicine admissions.

I have 1 year of experience as a weekly teaching assistant in Maths and ICT. I have experience tutoring on-to-one and small classes both online and in-person. My extensive online teaching experience means I`ve learned strategies to teach that make online lessons just as effective as in person ones!

At school I achieved 11 A*s at GCSE, and 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level.

I am passionate about teaching and believe that through tailored, supportive teaching all students are able t reach their goals, ad this has been my experience with all my pupils! My focus is on continually identifying strengths and weaknesses and using these to focus teaching, make the most out of lessons and always improve grades over time.

I offering tutoring in Medicine applications as well (including BMAT, UKCAT and interview preparation) as I believe that due to the highly competitive nature of the course, success in applications comes not only from passion for the subject and academic results but also hugely depends on understanding how to put your best foot forward at every stage of the application. As a result I believe students often lose out not due to lack of ability or passion, but simply not having enough information before applying, and I am passionate about preventing this! Having received offers from Oxford, UCL and Imperial Medical schools I believe I can provide useful advice and practice interviews based on my experiences.
