I am a student at Newcastle University, who has had a wealth of teaching children and adults alike over the last few years. As a keen linguist, I currently speak 4 languages, and am also studying marketing alongside my language studies! Through many different subjects of learning at GCSE, A-Level and degree level, I understand what it means to deliver fun and engaging lessons, and am eager to share this with people! I have privately tutored English, magic (as it is a side career) and have taught basic English and Maths in rural South Africa.

Experience: My teaching method is tailored to the interests of the student - when it comes to languages it is important to understand what the student wants out of the subject, be it a speaking focus, a focus to get through an exam, or a combination of a wide range. When approaching speaking, writing and reading topics, I aim to base the majority of teaching on topics that interest the student, with other topics thrown in there to ensure that wider vocabulary acquisition isn`t hindered. Depending on the level of the student, there will be an appropriate amount of preparation to do for classes (consisting of engaging exercises) and responses to the preparation will then be discussed during the scheduled classes. An appropriate amount of speaking/listening practice will be done in the classes, depending on the level of the student as well.
