I have specialist business experience and academic background in emerging economies. My academic teaching interests and personal development relates to behavioural economics, socio and geopolitical science, entrepreneurship and the academic/ learning process. I have written e-textbooks for IB, CIE AS/ A Level Economics.

Story telling has been used for millennia as an exciting and effective way of transmitting information. I integrate my 20 years of business experience to create stimulating lessons to introduce content, concepts and specifically to provide context, which is often broad, complex and characteristically abstract within the subjects I teach.

I regularly incorporate meta-cognition into my lessons. I try to inspire students to become aspirational students: to strive beyond their potential by developing thinking and processing skills. My primary focus is fostering broad learning experiences using Creative Thinking practices solving real-world problems. I regularly connect multiple subjects to my lessons: coupled with a Socratic discussion style.

Prior to working in education, I worked for international businesses and consulting firms covering information technology; telecommunications, financial investment and engineering. I ran my own business consultancy in Guangzhou, China. I currently run my own create thinking solutions/ executive coaching consulting firm.
