Information about Maria
I’m in last year of my nursing coarse in collegs. I have worked in both a tuition centre for group teaching, and also do 1-1 tutoring. My students find that my informal approach makes them feel at ease and I aim to improve students` confidence. I aim to deliver information in a way that is fun, engaging and easy to understand, whether that be friendly competitions or real life uses of what is being learnt. I hope to create a comfortable space for students where they can express their difficulties and confusions without a worry of being judged.

Experience: I have taught 1:1 lessons with many students with different abilities using different teaching techniques. Also have been working in a primary school for a few months, where i’m working with children who may have special needs.

Maria has a punctual, friendly dynamic approach to tutoring. She is very competant in adapting her skill set to meet the individual needs of her student. My daughter felt very comfortable working with and due to that was able to improve in her Math and English. Even at school the improvement was seen by teachers and her grades. I would highly reccomend Maria to any parent needing in-person tutoring and would definatlely obtain her services again in the future.
