I completed my A-Levels in summer 2025 and am on a gap year before starting a Natural Sciences Degree next autumn. I am hugely passionate about science and love tutoring. I have tutored local students face-to-face but am new to this platform. I was a biology prefect at my school. In this role I helped younger students with exam prep and wider engagement with the subject.

I have recently taken the ESAT entry exam for Cambridge University and am very confident teaching Chemistry and Biology syllabuses up to A-level. I have read extensively outside the syllabus on these subjects and completed several university level MOOCs (online courses).

I am happy to lead the sessions, by first working with the student to plan an overall strategy (taking into account their strengths, weaknesses and learning-styles) but also to work on an ad-hoc basis - responding to their current subject needs.

I find teaching extremely rewarding and take pride in helping students reach their maximum potential. I look forward to discussing how I can help.

Gold medalist in the British Biology Olympiad, Silver medalist in the Intermediate Chemistry Olympiad, 10th nationally in the Cambridge Biology Challenge, Biology Project Prize for contributions as a prefect.
Public speaking at clubs, societies and events about scientific topics.
