Carol

I`m Carol , an experienced primary school teacher. I have taught all stages from Primary 1 through to Primary 7. In addition, I have taught within special education and furthermore, within autism provision.

I currently work part time as a teacher, allowing me to keep up to date with all curriculum developments. However, I am also undertaking a Masters degree on Outdoor Learning/ Learning for Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh.

Availability: I am available both day time during the week and evenings. I offer both 1-2-1 and group tutoring.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: My tutoring style is relaxed, designed to help your child develop enthusiasm for the subject areas taught, which will lead to them being motivated and making real progress. I want to see your child grow and develop confidence and will work with you to ensure this happens. We will use a range of strategies, finding those that suit your child.

I have experience of working with home schooled pupils as well as those in full time education.
