This fee includes: 1 hour talking to you about: a. How the interview process works and `de-mystifying` the interview process; b. your academic and extra-curricular interests and ambitions, during which we will establish how best to approach your interview preparation. You might be set some follow-up `homework` at this stage. At a later date, you will then have a 1 hour mock interview, during which we will have an `Oxbridge` style discussion about your chosen subject and motivations for study. If desired, I will make further reading recommendations and highlight the skills you must practice to improve your chances of being successful at interview stage. Information about Heather

I bring a calm, non-judgemental approach to tutoring, which former tutees have found helpful. I can adapt to the needs of each student but tend to employ a straight-talking approach. I am willing to work with students of all abilities.

I am happy to travel to you.

I gained my CELTA certification at International House London, where I trained to teach English to non-native English speakers. The CELTA is the `gold standard` TEFL qualification for teaching English, and International House London is reputedly the world`s best language school at which to train.

Availability: Monday to Friday.

I am willing to tutor at the weekends, provided this is arranged at least two weeks in advance. Weekend cancellations will incur a fee (1 hour`s tuition).
