Hi!

My name is Richard and I`m an Imperial College London Theoretical Physics Graduate.

I believe in taking an approach to teaching that prioritises understanding concepts and key ideas, as opposed to rote memorisation for exams. To achieve this, I take a step by step approach, encouraging students to engage with their learning as we discover mathematics and physics together. In this way, what the student learns becomes intuitive and natural to them, equipping them to tackle a wide range of exam problems.

Home Lessons: Lessons at the home of the student can be arranged within the London Boroughs of Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Newham and Tower Hamlets.
Lessons for prospective students in all other areas will be conducted online

Experience: At Imperial College, I helped co-found a student initiative within the Physics Department which focused on creating educational resources made by students, for students to help them pass their exams. I conducted seminars and workshops where we helped students understand key maths and physics concepts they could not understand in their independent leaning. This experience equipped me with the tools necessary to be able to teach key concepts and ideas from the ground up, even those at a high conceptual level. I will apply the same expertise and experience to our lessons, focusing from the ground up to help you succeed
