I am a 40 year old mother of one with a PGCE in English with Drama and Media from London Metropolitan University. I moved to Ludlow five years ago and taught for several years at Idsall School in Shifnal. As of August 2017, I have successfully tutored a number of local students through the new English Language and Literature GCSE examinations and they have all passed with flying colours! References are available as well as testimonials from current private students.

I usually see my students in a well-equipped and quiet little classroom in my home in Ludlow; however, I am prepared to travel to students` homes.

Availability: Monday to Friday: 4.30pm-8.00pm
Tuesday and Friday mornings: 9.00am-12.00pm
Saturday: 10.00am-4.00pm
Available full time in school holidays.

Experience: I completed my teacher training in 2011 after a long career in the media and taught at two secondary schools in London during my training, as well as my first post at Aylward Academy. I moved back to Ludlow (where I grew up) in 2012 and began teaching English full time to students from 11-16 at Idsall School in Shifnal. I left to have my son and decided that private tuition would be more suited to the needs of my family.
