I am a piano, viola/violin and singing teacher based in Dartmoor in Devon. I became perhaps the most recognisable piano player of 2016 when I played piano with the Collaborative Orchestra and Singers in our audition for Britain`s Got Talent which propelled the orchestra to the live semi-finals, narrowly missing out on a place in the finals.

The judges were surprised as I started the piece as a solo pianist playing Queen`s `Don`t Stop Me Now` before being joined by our 70 strong force of the Collaborative Orchestra and Singers` orchestra, rock band and choir.

The audition was so successful that the Collaborative Orchestra and Singers received a standing ovation from all four judges (yes - even Simon Cowell!). It has now been viewed by over 30ml viewers in the UK and internationally. It was by far my biggest performance of my career, as I also trained the choir for the audition and semi-finals.

Since then, I have gone on to play piano accompanied by the orchestra for the Royal Family at the Epsom Derby, for Barnes Fashion Festival and for BBC West Midlands Radio Christmas concert as well the Building Awards ceremony 2016.

My expertise is as a violin, viola, piano and vocal coach teaching all abilities and ages from absolute beginner to advanced.

I recently moved away from London, where I was Music Teacher at St David`s Prep, listed as 37th best independent primary school in the country by `The Times` to start a new life in Dartmoor.
Now i teach privately from home, as well as running an after school music club at Chagford CofE Primary School and leading the Globe Singers, an amateur female only choir based in Chagford.
I also perform as a professional musician, from singing and playing piano for events, to playing viola and violin in orchestras.

I have over a decade teaching experience, along with vast playing experience. My goal is to make your learning enjoyable, in a relaxing teaching environment. All ages and abilities taught.

Experience: I am a highly experienced pianist and violin/viola player and singer best known for playing with the Collaborative Orchestra in Britain`s Got Talent 2016. Previously, I played viola professionally for the Exeter Northcott Theatre. I have performed at prestigious venues such as Symphony Hall, Birmingham, St. John`s Smiths Square, London as well as many other concerts.

Since the success of our run in Britain`s Got Talent (the first orchestra ever to reach the live semi-finals), I accepted a post as Music Teacher at St David`s Primary School in West Wickham (South-East London) where i taught piano, violin and viola, music theory and coached the orchestra and the recorder groups.

I have now moved to Chagford in Devon, where I run a community choir, The Globe Singers, as well as an after school music club called `Music Mayhem` for beginners in years 1-3 at Chagford CofE Primary School. I teach piano, violin, viola and singing privately from home and at North Tawton Primary School and Chagford CofE Primary schools.

I obtained my piano grade 8 (Distinction) and violin/viola to grade 7 (Merit) as well as obtaining my A-Level in music. I have taught piano up to Grade 7 (Distinction) and violin & viola up to Grade 5.

As well as teaching piano and viola, I am also a vocal coach, I have experience teaching individuals and training choirs, also as a musical director, composer and arranger.

I teach all levels of ability and all ages. I aim for my lessons to be as enjoyable as possible and achieve great results with my pupils with my motivational style.

I am passionate about music and teaching and hope to pass some of my passion on to you!
