I am a DBS approved private English tutor who aims not only to improve academic outcomes but also pupils` confidence in their own abilities. All sessions and guidance will be tailored to the individual pupil`s ability and their on-going target. The length and frequency of the sessions are also built around the pupil`s needs and availability.

As a tutor:

- I will be supportive and work with pupils, not for them, to enable that they are supported in order to achieve
- I will work to understand the student and show them that they are understood
- I will always be supportive and positive, to show them that they can reach their full potential
- I will always be contactable between sessions via email
- I will help the pupil with their current English work and homework, but not create additional work for them

Availability: 5pm - 7pm Wednesday - Friday
10am - 2pm Saturday
10am - 2pm Sunday

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: As an English Language and Literature graduate (2:1), I have worked as a classroom assistant to gain experience for my Primary PGCE, and as a private English tutor, specialising in English Language and Literature KS2 and preparing pupils for SATs exams, coupled with teaching English as a second language to Adult learners.
