I am currently a primary school teacher teaching children in Upper Keystage 2 - Year 5. I notice on a daily basis that some children could be much more successful with a little more focused help. I have therefore considered offering extra tuition to support children who need a little extra help outside of school. My main areas of tuition are English and Mathematics due to my own personal background. However, I am willing to cover other areas of the curriculum.

Experience: I am currently in my seventh year of teaching and have experience in years` 1,2,4, 5 and 6 through work and voluntary placements. I have a good knowledge of assessment through the use of different formats including regular tests and ongoing teacher assessments. Since being in my role, I have taught a variety of topics and contributed to the wider ethos of the school. In the past three years, I was the Foreign Languages leader for the school and held a successful trip to Spain and a fantastic International week. Alongside my current class teacher role, I am now the Computing and Junior Leadership Team leader for the school. Since being in my role, I have made changes to the curriculum covered, promoted after school clubs and took part in competitions.
I enjoy teaching the wide range of subjects in our curriculum and take pride in imparting knowledge through private tuition.
