I have been an educator for over 20 years, and am a specialist tutor for Computer Science and programming/software engineering. I take pride in working with unusual cases and getting excellent results, with a 100% pass rate throughout my career. I have helped thousands of students achieve their educational aims, and worked with countless students suffering anxiety & depression, as well as some struggling to improve their grades enabling them to progress to A Levels and higher vocational programs.
I hold a first degree in Engineering and Software Engineering, and a Masters degree in Software Systems Engineering and have over 20 years experience of teaching in colleges and universities working as a lecturer and head of department. I have a strong track record of teaching on both academic and vocational programs (levels 1 to 6, OCR, BTEC and HNC/HND, and degree)
I am an exceptional tutor and teacher/lecturer (observed as a grade 1/outstanding) with strong communication skills and proficiency in providing lessons online and at distance. I can provide first class tuition for A-Level and vocational students (BTEC & OCR) from level 2 to level 6 in IT, ICT, and Computing and am a skilled programmer, proficient in many different languages; in particular, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascri pt.
As well as being an educator, I have also worked as a software engineer in the sector.
