Hi, my name is Bev, I am an experienced secondary Drama and English teacher who loves helping students find enjoyment in their learning.
I have the skills and teaching ability to enable students of all abilities reach their full potential. I can provide tuition in English Language, English Literature, Drama, Theatre Studies up to and including GCSE for English/Drama and `A` level for Drama/Theatre Studies examinations.
I am also able to offer tuition in LAMDA Acting examinations.
My aim is for lessons to be engaging, interactive, supportive, and effective in developing a student`s understanding of a subject.
I am an empathetic, intuitive teacher with the ability to create lessons that cater for the individual needs of a student and allow them to flourish.

We were looking for a tutor to help our daughter prepare for her GCSE Drama exam. We found Beverly on Tutor Hunt and she was truly amazing! Beverly was organised, had a plentiful supply of necessary resources, lessons were constructive and engaging, her feedback to written work was in depth and insightful, her overall approach was challenging and supportive. Beverly was encouraging of our daughter to identify what content she would like to cover in the final run up to the exam in order to build confidence before sitting her GCSE. I cannot find enough superlatives for Beverley.. if you are looking for a GCSE Drama .. look no further!

Beverly has been tutoring my daughter for gcse English for several weeks. My daughter was a little anxious at first but Beverly has a very calming demeanour and obviously cares deeply about her work, quickly putting my daughter at ease. She listens to the needs and concerns of my daughter and gently guides her through lessons she has tailored specifically for her and her goals. Each week she consistently checks that the lessons are meeting my daughter’s needs and keeps us, as parents, informed of her progress, suggesting resources and areas for development. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Beverly to other families.
