Hi, my name is Bev, I am an experienced secondary Drama and English teacher who loves helping students find enjoyment in their learning.
I have the skills and teaching ability to enable students of all abilities reach their full potential. I can provide tuition in English Language, English Literature, Drama, Theatre Studies up to and including GCSE for English/Drama and `A` level for Drama/Theatre Studies examinations.
I am also able to offer tuition in LAMDA Acting examinations.
My aim is for lessons to be engaging, interactive, supportive, and effective in developing a student`s understanding of a subject.
I am an empathetic, intuitive teacher with the ability to create lessons that cater for the individual needs of a student and allow them to flourish.

Beverly tutored my daughter, Melissa, for both her GCSE English Language and English Literature GCSEs. Melissa had been ill with glandular fever and fatigue for a number of weeks and needed to plug some gaps in knowledge and skill as well as building confidence. Beverly had high expectations and pushed Melissa, but whilst also being kind and encouraging. Melissa enjoyed her sessions and felt much more confident as she approached her exams. I would rate Beverly very highly and recommend her without hesitation. Thank you!

Beverly was flexible and adapted her input to my daughter’s needs. She is friendly and approachable. She is clearly an experienced drama teacher and knows the syllabus and topics well.
