Alison

I am 45 and began teaching in 1996, with a 2:1 degree from Warwick University and a PGCE from Cambridge. I have taught English and Drama in both independent and state schools and have an excellent record of results. I commit myself fully to preparing appropriate lessons, setting and marking extra work where desired. I work closely with all parties to try and ensure all needs are met. What`s more, I absolutely love what I do!

Experience: Before having children: 10 years experience teaching English and Drama in schools, as well as further time providing personal tuition in Maths, English and Drama.

Currently I also teach two days a week in a Dorset Academy, working only with Year 10 and 11 students, providing valuable intervention to raise achievement. I am also an examiner for AQA.
