Information about Kate

I am an experienced tutor and primary school teacher. I have nine years experience teaching in primary schools, seven in the UK and two in a British School in Madrid. I have experience teaching a range of year groups from Year 1 to year 6- mainly Key Stage 2. I have been a Y6 teacher for four years so I understand what is needed in order to prepare for the SATs exams. I have a lot of experience tutoring a range of ages and abilities, including adults and preparations for 11+ exams.

I try to ensure all my lessons are engaging and children centred in order to get the most out of the children :)

In the few months that Kate has been tutoring my year 6 son he has made a huge amount of progress and he actually enjoys the sessions. Kate is reliable, approachable and, most importantly, gives a clear understanding of topics. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
