Information about Jade
I am a 32 year old tutor specialising in English. I work in a secondary school and I am a qualified teacher. I have a PGCE as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in English Literature and Language from King`s College London and I have experience with tutoring children of all ages and a full spectrum of learning and mental health needs. I focus on increasing my students` confidence and teaching excellent essay writing skills.
I have been tutoring privately for a number of years. I have tutored primary, key stage 3, GCSE and A Level students including exam preparation and coursework guidance. I have a good record, particularly in English, which includes increasing my students grades at A Level from a C at mocks to an A in finals, moving a student from the bottom set up into the second top set for GCSE stage English and most recently helping a student convert her D/C grade English A Level coursework into an A and her highest ever mark.
I have come back to tutoring after 4 years working full time in secondary schools and special schools in Surrey. I have plenty of availability so please don`t hesitate to contact me.

I can`t speak highly enough of Jade. We engaged her to help my son prepare for his GCSE exam and she`s doing a fantastic job. She comes well prepared, and gives excellent, clear advice that is carefully targeted for his particular needs. She is calm, patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, focused, well informed about exam technique - and very punctual! My son is an unenthusiastic student and even he thinks she`s great!
