I am currently a teacher at the West Bridgford School in Nottingham and have 10 years experience teaching and tutoring (but not through this website hence the lack of reviews- I`m happy to provide references though!) Maths up to and including A-Level Further Maths.

I love Maths, but studied Philosophy and Ancient History at St Andrews University, graduating in 2013. I then became a teacher through Teach First and have since taught myself Further Maths A-Level in order to ensure I am well equipped to teach any and all students I may meet.

My particular strength lies in diagnosing the precise issue that is holding a student back and working to improve this in the most efficient way possible. Rather than focusing on how to answer one style of question or topic, I find the underlying issues that a student faces and ensure that this is addressed. I approach lessons with a sense of humour and am adept at making students feel at ease.

Availability: Any time after 4pm GMT Monday-Friday provided I don`t have other clients at that time.

Experience: I`ve worked in some outstanding schools including: Tiffin Boys` School, one of the country`s most successful maths departments by results; The British International School of Kuala Lumpur, in which I achieved 100% grade 9 with a second set year 11 class; The West Bridgford School in Nottingham where I contributed to 71% A*-A at A-Level and now teach A-Level Further Maths to year 12 who we anticipate getting 100% A-B in their AS Level.

I have tutored students from age 10 to 35 in entrance exams, iGCSE, GCSE, A-Level Maths and A-Level Further Maths and have a 100% satisfaction rate to date; every one of my students achieved or exceeded their targets. Some were dramatically under-performing and needed a nudge, some hated Maths and needed to find their love for it, some desperately needed a certain grade to get a university place; all have been really pleased with what I offer and I`m happy to provide references on request.
