I am a qualified pharmacist with strong interpersonal skills, gained through employment positions where communication skills are a pre-requisite. My 1st class degrees in Chemistry and Pharmacy which include periods of study abroad in Malaysia, Taiwan and Australia have equipped me with a wide breadth of scientific knowledge and the capacity to master complex ideas which are crucial for excelling and fulfilling the role of a tutor.

As a lifetime student who has been privileged enough to have an education I understand the possibilities that it can unlock. In addition since I have been on that journey and excelled to the highest level I am aware of the challenges faced and how to overcome them. My aim is to share my knowledge and expertise with students to allow them to reach their goals and potential.

I am able to deliver sessions remotely using Zoom and a visualiser which allows the Tutee to see my PowerPoint slides and workings on a notepad. Demonstration can be provided upon request.

The aim of the session is to work through the given topic as well as questions to improve knowledge. Once the session is complete I will set the student follow up work to further consolidate their understanding and I will provide feedback once answers are submitted.

Availability: Saturday: 2pm onwards
Sunday: Any time

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have several years of tutoring experience with tutoring agencies. Reference available upon request from the Manager.

Previous to that I have several years experience working as an independent tutor in the areas of chemistry, maths, physics, and biology.

My strategy is to identify the students goals and areas they require help with before proposing a mutually agreed plan. I tailor my plan towards the syllabus to ensure the lessons are accurate and enable the student to achieve high marks.

I empathize that many topics seem daunting to begin with and my goal is to build the confidence of the tutee and to provide as much support and understanding as possible so that they achieve the results to the best of their ability.
