I am currently in my second year at the University of Southampton studying for a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. Having only finished my own A levels in 2014, I am familiar with the current maths syllabus still having my A level work in organised folders.
I believe that having a genuine interest and enthusiasm for maths is the best start in understanding the subject. Showing students how their maths is applied in the real world makes them realise the reasons for certain calculations and makes the subject more interesting. Understanding concepts in small steps and using little tricks (which I still use in my University work) to help remember will suddenly make maths enjoyable and easier and then difficult subjects become easier and clearer.

Availability: Most weekdays and Weekends during university holiday (Sunday 20th March - Sunday 17th April)
