Information about Natalie
The child is truly a miraculous being, and this should be felt deeply by the educator.
Maria Montessori
After completing my Degree in Primary Education at Edge Hill University I moved halfway across the country and landed the job of my dreams, teaching in an amazing Primary School in West Sussex.
From here, I taught for 9 wonderful years in the various classes and over the age ranges. My longest being six years as a Year 6 Teacher. I loved my job, I loved the wonderful children that I taught and enjoyed watching each individual blossom into who they were meant to be.
I did all that was within my power to prepare the children I taught mentally, academically and emotionally. I pride myself on my calm manner and know that this helped the pupils I taught to feel that they could tackle anything head on!
I was also a supply teacher for a little while, having the joy and privilege of teaching some fabulous children ranging from Early Years all the way up to Year 6. One of my most memorable moments was fishing through a big bucket of soil for a mini beast topic, there was such awe the little faces at their first sighting of a worm.
Over the years I have tutored children, all of whom have come on leaps and bounds with my knowledge and expertise. My tutoring style is Child-led. I tailor each session to an individual`s needs, tapping into their interests and finding out what excites them. This is how we learn best, I like to make sessions relevant, fun, inspiring and memorable. Depending on the learner I adapt my teaching style and resources to fit with the pupil. Each session looks different, just as each individual is different.
I can teach any subject within the Primary Curriculum with particular strengths in Maths, English and French. I create a place where learning is carefully tailored to spark wonder.

Previous to that I taught a mixed Year 3/4 class in a private school. Before that I was a was a Year 6 teacher for six years and worked as a Year 3 class teacher for three. During this time I tutored children as part of an extended education programme in the school I was working in. Just after finishing my degree in 2007 I was supply teacher, after-school club leader and Private Tutor.
