I have a First Class degree in Arabic and Persian from Cambridge University and have a passion for languages and linguistics. I believe that the fact that I have acquired several languages as a non-native speaker makes me an ideal person to teach them because I am aware of the challenges that they pose to English speakers and I have carefully considered how these can be overcome.
I am able to adapt to suit the needs of students of all ages, abilities and levels of motivation. I provide clear and precise explanations whilst also challenging my students to think and try things out for themselves.
I take preparation seriously and always plan my lessons to suit my students` needs.

Experience: I have 7 years of varied teaching experience on an ad-hoc, one-to-one basis. I have mainly taught children aged 6 to 17 but have some experience teaching adults too. I am equally comfortable teaching music as I am teaching languages.
