My name is Olivia and I have achieved 2 degrees in the commerce fields (Accounting, Finance and Tax).
I specialise in homeschooling online - this has been my role since the beginning of the pandemic. I have established myself in a position where I have taught full the full syllabus of IGCSE Business Studies, IGCSE Economics and IGCSE Accounting with all my students receiving a grade A or above.
I also have established my own Financial Literacy Course, written and edited by myself. I am able to offer these services live to anyone who may have an interest in the practical aspects of money and life.
I am a compassionate tutor who focuses on the understanding of topics rather than rote learning. I believe in going back to simpler topics if misunderstood to enforce and enable further learning.

Olivia has been tutoring my daughter, Lucy, for her GCSE maths over the last 6 months. Olivia has been an absolutely fantastic tutor for us. She is highly knowledgeable and personable, and was an invaluable support. Olivia quickly built up a very strong rapport with my daughter - Lucy always looked forward to the sessions, which she found highly interesting and engaging. Olivia went very thoroughly through the subject giving Lucy a very deep understanding of the particular modules. This really helped Lucy in recalling key information in the exam. Olivia gave Lucy the right strategies to get the best marks and how to answer questions most effectively. Before we employed Olivia, Lucy was sure she would fail her GCSE maths. However, having just finished her exams, Lucy is very confident she has passed with flying colours.

Olivia is very knowledgeable and confident with her teaching, she is very calm, patient and will repeat and keep explaining things to my daughter so she understands. She can work both pro-active and re-active if things need to change. Overall she is very understanding of my daughters needs, very encouraging and supportive.
