I am a highly experienced Maths tutor with over 13 years of tutoring experience and 10 years as a qualified Maths teacher. Holding a BSc in Mathematics and Education, I currently work as a Maths Lead Practitioner in a secondary school, specialising in helping students excel across all key stages, including GCSE.

I have extensive experience teaching all major exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, ensuring students are well-prepared for their specific exams. My tutoring has consistently helped students improve by at least two grades within a year.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

Each session is tailored to the student’s needs. I start with starter exam questions to identify and address small gaps in knowledge, followed by focused teaching on specific topics the student needs help with. We then apply the learning through exam-style questions to build confidence and familiarity with test formats. Homework can be provided if needed to reinforce understanding, or we can work flexibly on what the student needs most in each lesson.
