I am a passionate, enthusiastic tutor and I have just sat my A-levels in English Literature, History, Classical Civilisation. Gaining the following grades:
A* English, A History, A Classics.

I have tutored two students for their English Literature GCSE and both students gained from my guidance and we were able to have thought provoking lessons that reached further than what is covered in the classroom to help them gain the originality required for the top grades.

My teaching style for English is to have students very familiar with the texts by reading through key chapters together, discussing certain moments in the plot, analysing specific literature devices and making essay plans to prepare students for the exams.

I will support the students with school work that their teachers will have set, such as essays and mini essays. A mini essay will be set after every session that I will mark and in the following session I will hand back the work and discuss with the student points of appraisal and areas that can be improved. Exercises such as this will improve the students performance and will build up their exams. Every session will be fun, engaging, educational, organised and varied with many activities such as memorising quotes. When I`m not studying or tutoring, you can find me in Waterstones or on the stage as I am an aspiring actor.

Availability: I now have availability on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school and all day on Saturday.

Experience: I have sat the new GCSE in English and achieved high grades in both subjects, in English Literature GCSE I achieved 153 marks out of a possible 160 which was a grade 9. I
