I`m retired from teaching Chemistry, after 39 years in one of Northern Ireland`s top grammar schools.
I was the recipient of the `Schools Education Award` in 2016, presented annually by the Royal Society of Chemistry to a teacher of chemistry in the UK. I also worked for some time as the Chair of Examiners for GCE Chemistry with CCEA.
I only teach online.

Availability: Just ended the year with my 2022-23 cohort of examination students.
Presently available every day in the week, with just six sessions scheduled with my Y12 students..

Experience: I have taught for several years on another platform, working with all the specifications and teaching students from many different countries, including China, Kuwait, Qatar, Norway and the UK.
After years of effort, I have built up an enormous bank of teaching and assessment resources that I can share at the click of a mouse - enabling me to teach my subject very effectively online. I also have a dedicated website at acechemistry to help my pupils progress between lessons. Access to all these resources will be free to my students while they remain with me.
Some of the examining boards (e.g. EDEXCEL) have highlighted videos on my online video playlists as recommended support. I`ve taught two winners of the prestigious International Chemistry Olympiad and I`ve taught numerous students who achieved the highest mark in the year in GCE Chemistry - both with CCEA and AQA.
