I have a high success rate of improving students attainment and helping them to reach their target grades. I also work with adult learners who are returning to education for a career change or simply to broaden their knowledge, understanding and skills within the subject.

Experience: I have extensive teaching experience in both state and private schools. I have also been tutoring online for four years now and can offer a personalised experience depending on a student`s individual needs. I specialise in English Language, specifically in preparation for the English GCSE. I have worked with a range of different exam boards and can offer practice papers to support the tuition. I also work with KS3 students developing the core skills required to successfully prepare for the transition into GCSE work.

My daughter has always spoken highly of the lessons with Gemma. Gemma creates a engaging environment and is very calming. She clearly knows her subject, how to teach and cares. My daughter feels much more confident as Gemma has equipped her with the skills to succeed. I think Gemma has the passion and experience that children need which has motivated my daughter again having lost confidence with the subject at school.
