I`ve lived in Bristol for many years - it`s a city that I love. I`m married with two grown-up daughters.

I hold a CELTA qualification in teaching English as a foreign language.I also have a very strong all-round academic background, with a degree and PhD in Physics from Cambridge University and a degree and MPhil in theology from the University of Bristol. That makes me pretty unique for an English teacher!

It means I can help you with academic English across a whole range of subjects - as well as the ordinary kind of English language. I`ve also published several books.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you towards the goals that you want to pursue.

Availability: Currently I am available at most times on all weekdays. Saturdays may also be possible.

Experience: I have a lot of experience of teaching in various places, including university, churches and other places. I have taught at Bristol`s top English language school at levels ranging from lower elementary all the way to proficiency. So I should be able to help you!
