I am a versatile and passionate linguist who sees the power of language to change lives. I have a B.A. in Modern Languages at the University of Manchester and a postgraduate teaching qualification. I have lived in both France and Germany, becoming fluent in both languages. In recent years I have added Spanish to my repertoire, securing an AS Level. In the last two years I have written two A Level study guides to enable students to understand German literature texts, the first of which was published in June and the second is awaiting publication. I have a particular passion for reading and speaking languages and enjoy using my interpreting skills when called upon, most recently during a stopover in Bavaria en route to Romania on a charity trip.
