Information about Holly
As a Cambridge University graduate I have personal experience in passing exams at the very highest levels. I am passionate about the subjects I teach and thoroughly enjoy my work as a tutor. As a mum myself, I understand the desire to want your child to achieve their full potential, but I am also young enough to remember what it felt like to sit these exams, so can empathise with the challenges that my tutees face. I am a friendly, approachable, individual and am happy to fit tutorials around my clients` lifestyles.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have 8 years experience of tutoring in KS2, KS3 and GCSE English Literature and Language as well as A level History (Modern Britain, Cold War, Germany and Russia), A Level Philosophy and Government and Politics. I also home school students in GCSE English, GCSE History and A Level Government and Politics. As well as this I tutor adult learners English as a second language.

Holly has just started tutoring my daughter in A level philosophy. We’ve only had 2 lessons so far but I am delighted to say she has been punctual, flexible about timings, pleasant, willing to travel to us (which is a great help as time is so tight for students in Y13). My daughter says Holly made her feel immediately at ease, has been really useful esp in working on exam technique and is glad to work with her. Happy to recommend!

Lovely lady who has a friendly and positive approach to both learning and to her students. My daughter felt very comfortable with her immediately and that was important to me. Have already seen an improvement in her school results. Highly recommend.
