I am an optimistic, engaging 18 year old that enjoys teaching and interacting with people. I play and love sport, mainly football, and also like acting. Currently, I am enjoying tutoring two year 10 students maths and I am looking to do some more tutoring during the week. I have just finished Waldegrave sixth form studying maths, physics and chemistry and achieving A*A*A* , having previously achieved high grade 9’s in maths and all three sciences at gcse. I am taking a gap year before university and I working as a teaching assistant at Richmond Upon Thames school before going to Sheffield university to study mechanical engineering.

Experience: I began tutoring when I was 15 years old during my time at Teddington school whist completing the volunteering section of my Duke of Edinburgh award. I have always thoroughly enjoyed and excelled at maths however I instantly found tutoring required good communication and explanations as much as intelligence. Over the last few years I have been captain of a football team and have been a FA referee which enabled me to develop my skills of communication and reasoning to an even higher level. Since then I have tutored multiple other students maths and science ranging from family friends children to students in my own class. My experience so far has shown me that it is a rewarding experience for the tutor and student alike.
