Experience: I have a wide experience of teaching students of all levels and ages beginning with primary school students when I was in charge of running Arabic clubs and to this day via helping in teaching Modern Standard Arabic to students at the UEA. During the past four years I have developed excellent knowledge of providing customized tutoring services to students at GCSE, A level and university- age. I am also happy to teach adults Arabic as a second language.

I teach Modern Standard Arabic based on the "Mastering Arabic" Series which is one of the most famous books used in different universities and institutions. This series starts at beginners to intermediate level students with little or no previous knowledge of the language and who want to understand, read, write and speak Arabic confidently, and then moves on to a more advanced level of studying with some fascinating cultural insights.

If you are already familiar with the principals of Modern Standard Arabic and want to learn the Egyptian Dialect of Spoken Arabic which is the most frequently studied and most widely understood in the Arab world, I can certainly do that based on the “Kallimni Arabi (colloquial Egyptian)” series of books.

I tend to use different learning materials and a variety of technique to make my lessons interesting and engaging. I customize my teaching approach based on my student’s background, their aims and their needs.

I believe that the enjoyment of these lessons is not only about the reward you get when you learn a new language but also the experience and the understanding that you will acquire when you learn the culture, the customs and the traditions of the Arab world.
