With over 20 years of experience teaching physics in schools, I have specialized in GCSE and A level tutoring for the last four years. I have always had a keen interest in physics, particularly the frontiers of physics like cosmology and particle physics.By contrast I have practiced martial arts for over 25 years and I have spent over 10 years as an instructor teaching a variety of ages at my own club.I also regularly enjoy walking, body-boarding and sometimes golf.

I can offer tuition in answering exam questions or more general help with the underlying concepts and the mathematical aspects of physics. I like to adapt my approach to individual students depending on their wider interests and the other subjects they study. I sometimes use a simple practical demonstration to help explain an idea in physics.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings/ afternoons.Mornings can be arranged if the student has free time. I also offer online tuition if required.

Experience: I have been teaching A level physics for over 20 years in state and independent schools gaining experience of different exam boards and the papers they set.I am currently teaching A level physics at a private school in Leicester as well as providing private tuition in tutees homes. I also have a recent CRB certificate.
I have many years of experience teaching physics so I am familiar with all the practicals that students need to understand and carry out at A level.
