I specialise in supporting students of all levels to improve on their GCSE grades before they take their exams. For the tutoring to work I feel it is important to quickly foster a relationship built on trust between the tutor and the student. Therefore, each student must feel comfortable with me and the learning environment. With a level of trust established it will enable me quickly build on the subject knowledge of the student and improve their knowledge, confidence and problem solving abilities. This will then enable the student to confidently work on their own and push their own personal boundaries with a constant view of achieving. To ensure each student is able to improve and grow I will adjust my teaching style to suit the student and move forward at their pace.

Availability: Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm
Weekends by arrangement

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been involved in teaching for over twenty years. For the last ten years I have specialised in teaching maths at various levels at a range of universities and specialist centres. During this time I have become involved with a major exam board and was requested to contribute to the creation of their exam papers. For this reason I feel I am very well equipped to support students to improve on their grades no matter where they are in terms of their achievement.
