Information about Jessica
I am a secondary Science teacher from Sutton Coldfield. I teach all three sciences across KS3 and KS4, and biology at KS5.
I have been teaching in schools for 10 years and as a qualified teacher for 7 years. I thoroughly enjoy working with my pupils and helping them achieve their full potential.
I am a firm believer that every learner is different and therefore have individual needs. For this reason my lessons are tailored specifically for each pupil based on their learning requirements.
During my lessons I aim to target any gaps in knowledge, as well as teaching pupils revision techniques that will be transferable to other subjects. These include exam technique through practice papers and workbooks, creating useful revision aids and increasing confidence in the newly required maths skills, e.g. formulas, standard form, data analysis, etc.

Jessica has been a great tutor to guide me in GCSE Chemistry and Physics. She explains each topic very well and make it easier to understand the content and ensures to spend time answering exam-style questions after covering each topic. I personally would recommend her to anyone who wants support for these subjects.

Sadly the tuition came to an abrupt end due to the lockdown, Jessica had engaged well with my daughter and I was confident she would improve rapidly with her support.

My daughter really enjoyed the sessions, she wished she’d also been one of her school teachers as she could understand the topics so well. I definitely recommend Jess if you are looking for a GCSE science tutor. Very professional and such a great help!
