Information about Carole
With over 30 years` experience teaching English and ESOL in Primary, Secondary, FE and HE, and having loved working as Head of Department in a Secondary School for children with SEND, I am working currently supporting University students with dyslexia and autism. I have successfully tutored GCSE students who have previously failed repeatedly so I can help with reading and writing strategies with a fresh, indiviualised approach.
Working online during the Covid 19 crisis, I have extended my offer to yr 10 & 12 students , and those all important years in Primary Education. Do you have a child who needs help and you don`t know what to do for the best?, I can help you to know what works best for you, enabling you to make rapid progress. My advice is tailored to your individual needs whether you are dyslexic or have other difficulties including ADHD and ASD.

Carole is exceptionally perceptive to the needs of the student and adapts her approach to the individual. Our daughter has autism and is incredibly cautious of new people. Carole has taken the time to get to know her, has worked out that formal teaching doesn`t work for her and has given her confidence in herself. We are looking forward to continuing to work together!
