Information about Natasha
Hi I`m Tash! I graduated from Durham University with a first class degree in Biology and Anthropology in 2018, and am now starting a research masters in evolutionary Biology. I`m willing to tutor students of any level in Biology. My aims as a tutor are to use engaging examples and analogies to give you a greater understanding and enjoyment of the subject.
Availability: October-June
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: Along with tutoring while at school, I have good experience in communicating scientific material simply and effectively through both my degree, and extra-curricular activities. For example, in my work as an Engage Volunteer at the Horniman Museum, I have been able to communicate my passion for science by sharing it with the public, and translating it into easily understandable facts for a wide range of visitors. It is my responsibility to engage with visitors at object handling exhibits and a butterfly house. This has honed my verbal communication and people skills, as I often need to assess visitors levels of knowledge, then convey scientific concepts to them in more or less detail. I also have experience as a medical writing intern at Brandcast Health, a medical communications agency. These roles have both allowed me to gain experience in simplifying scientific concepts so that people of a variety of skill levels can understand and engage with them.

I met Natasha once, she seemed very nice and competent. She will do a trial lesson in early September. The only problem is that she is still at university durubgvtern time and most of the lessons would be on Skype.
