Information about Edward
I have been a Secondary school maths teacher since 2005 and have been an Edexcel GCSE exam marker since then, too. I have tutored since 2011. I enjoy teaching maths and discovering what approach to a topic works best with a student. I believe that learning is more effective as a discussion so I encourage conversation relating to the topic that we are covering.
Availability: I usually tutor between 4pm and 9pm on most days for an hour but would be able to tutor before 4pm if that is more convenient.
I am available during school holidays as that is an ideal time to have slightly longer lessons or to have booster sessions, whether they be a one-off or part of a sequence of sessions.

Experience: I am a qualified Secondary Maths teacher with 15 years of teaching/tutoring experience and also mark GCSE Maths exams for Edexcel. I have experience of the International GCSE syllabus, having marked the exams for many years.
I have tutored since 2011.

We used Ed to help our son improve his chances of passing GCSE maths, we found Ed to be very helpful and generous with his time he did his best to find space for our son in his timetable, I would have no hesitation in using Ed again or recommending him, thanks again Ed.
