I’m a passionate and enthusiastic A Level and GCSE Business and Accounting teacher (Subject Leader) with over 13 years’ experience teaching in variety of secondary school settings with a variety of student needs.

I have a BA in Business Management and a PGCE in business and economics education from the Institute of Education (IOE)

I am also a GCSE and A Level business examiner and can provide insights into what examiners (like me!) look for in responses to help each student get the best possible mark they can. I can also provide additional, differentiated materials for each lesson based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses within the subject.

My teaching style has two ‘wings’ to it - one that helps to build confidence through knowledge acquisition (the foundation or gate-keeper) and the second, exam excellence strategies around assessment objectives. Having the right balance between each of these two ‘wings’ will help the student ‘fly’ and reach their goal!

Tutoring sessions are objective orientated and will allow the student to clearly progress.

Availability: Available weekday evenings

Saturday and Sunday mornings

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience teaching in secondary schools and am currently Head of Business and Accounting in a school in the South East.

I am also a qualified TESOL (level 5) EFL teacher.
