Shahrukh

I am a Maths and Science tutor and I enjoy helping students understand things in a simple and clear way. I teach Maths and Science from KS2 to GCSE and A-Level, including Further Maths. I have experience with AQA, Edexcel, OCR and SQA.

I always try to understand where the student is struggling and then work with them step by step. I don`t believe in just giving students answers. I want them to understand the topic and feel confident doing questions by themselves.

I have also prepared many students for their exams. We work through exam papers together, look at mistakes and understand how to get more marks. I also have my own ready-to-use resources, worksheets, questions and revision materials which I use during my lessons.

I have helped students make very good progress. For example, I supported a student who improved from a D to an A at AS Level and later achieved a A at A-Level. I have also helped GCSE students achieve high grades, including Grade 9.

I am friendly, patient and supportive, but I also like to challenge students when I know they can do more. Whether a student needs help catching up, improving their grades, preparing for exams or aiming for the highest grades, I will work with them and support them throughout.

My main aim is to make students more confident in Maths and Science and help them achieve the results they are capable of.

Availability: I am available for lessons on both weekdays and weekends, offering flexible timings to suit students and parents. I am happy to arrange sessions at convenient times to ensure consistent and regular support with learning.

Experience: have been tutoring Maths and Science for over 12 years, working with students across the UK through both online and face-to-face lessons. During this time, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, helping them improve their understanding, build confidence and achieve better results.

I have strong experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Maths, Physics and Science, including Further Maths. I am familiar with the main UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and SQA.

I regularly prepare students for their exams by working through exam papers, checking their mistakes and helping them understand how to gain more marks. I also create my own ready-to-use resources, worksheets, questions and revision materials to support students in their learning.

My lessons are based around the individual student. I look at what they already know, identify the areas they need to improve and then work with them step by step. I always try to make lessons clear, useful and enjoyable, while also challenging students to reach their full potential.
