I have recently completed a History BA at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. I have 10 A* GCSEs and three A levels (English Literature A*, History A, Economics A) and would be available to tutor in History and English GCSEs and AS/A Levels, as well as Oxbridge entrance. I would also be able to tutor on essay and creative writing across subjects more generally. While I was at Cambridge I took an active role in student journalism and was named runner-up in the BBC Student Critic of the Year Award 2019. In September I will take up a place on City of London University`s Magazine Journalism MA course.

Availability: I will be based in Newbury from June until mid-September.

Experience: I am confident that I would be able to tutor to a high standard. I have a very clear idea of the methods by which I worked throughout school and university and would hope to apply these in a constructive manner. From my experience in the Cambridge supervision system, I am very used to discussing ideas in a one-on-one format and I feel that teaching in this dialogue style can be very beneficial for exploring and articulating complex ideas. I am approachable and enjoy teaching and discussing the subjects which I am passionate about.
