Friendly, knowledgeable, fun and flexible: the comments I’ve heard most over the past 25 years’ experience working with language students of all ages. A native Londoner, I have a first degree in German but it is my masters in Linguistics that helps me unpick the more complicated (and fun!) questions of grammar that a native German speaker sometimes cannot explain. Although I`m now fully fluent in the language, I know the challenges because I was once a learner too. Besides teaching, I work in tourism: as a licensed "Blue Badge" Guide in London and as a Tour Manager for EF Educational, the biggest private tour company in the world.
