I have been a teacher for 30+ years, the last twenty years spent teaching learners with Specific Learning Difficulties or as I prefer to call them `differences`.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma SpLD and an Assessment Practising Certificate (PATOSS). I am also an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).
AMBDA accredited teachers are recognised as Specialists in Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), qualified to conduct specialist diagnostic assessments; Exam Access Arrangements and to deliver individualised Teaching programmes to learners with Dyslexia/SpLD up to and including 18 years of age.
I am based in Bury, Lancashire, eight miles north of Manchester. I offer online services for Dyslexia diagnosis and 1:1 Dyslexia support sessions.

Experience: I have been a successful home tutor for 18 months and also a classroom teacher and teaching headteacher for 38 years. I have successfully taught a wide age range of students including KS2, KS3, KS4 and post 16 students.
