Hello, my name is Rosie,
I am willing to help you achieve your best, build confidence and encourage an enthusiasm to learn. I am understanding of the relevant and up to date curriculum. I really love teaching and am aiming to become an A-level maths teacher. I understand the Kumon system and can tutor you to work through your booklets while encouraging independent problem solving.
I am happy to take on regular students or just the odd hour.

Experience: I work with students from a range of backgrounds and abilities. I am a student about to begin my second year at Portsmouth university where I was offered an unconditional to study a mathematics integrated masters course. I achieved A/A* in all subjects (Maths, Biology and English literature) at A level and have valuable experience volunteering as a teaching assistant at a secondary school working with students from year 7 to year 12.I achieved an A* in GCSE maths which I took early and an A (the highest possible grade) in additional maths at secondary school. I have experience with Kumon.

Cannot recommend Rosie enough, she’s so kind and helpful and patient. She would talk me through every point/question I didn’t understand and we would work on it until I did understand. She helped me find methods of learning that worked for me and was able to help me pass my maths GCSE. If you need a maths tutor then Rosie is definitely who I’d recommend! :)

Rosie and my daughter are working well together. My daughter appears more confident with her GCSE Maths and ejoys the lessons. Rosie is a very good communicator and I receive text updates and homework information regularly. I am very happy to continue her tutorage and looking forward to both my daughter and Rosie`s efforts to enable good outcomes in the mocks and Summer exams.
